Build parametric sheet notes
General notes repeat across sheets with small differences — a room name here, a date there. In SketchWeave you write a note once, drop in variables, and let each sheet fill in its own values.
Create a note

Open the main menu → Create Note
Click the canvas to place the note node. The hint reads "Create a reusable note; drag its connectors onto sheets to apply it."

Open the note editor
Double-click the note (or right-click → Properties) to open the editor.

Write the note
Type the note's text and give it a title. Formatting lives in the editor's toolbar.
Add variables

Name a variable
In the editor's Variables panel, type a name (say room) and click Add. Variables are project-wide, so any note can reuse them.

Insert a token
Put the caret where the value belongs and click Insert to drop a [room] token into the note. The token is atomic — it stays as one unit.

Repeat for each varying value
Add a token everywhere the wording changes from sheet to sheet.
Apply the note to sheets

Drag a connector onto a sheet
Drag from the note node's connector onto a sheet. The note joins that sheet's note stack.

Add it to every sheet that shares it
Repeat for each sheet. Reorder or remove notes per sheet from the sheet's note stack with the ▲ ▼ × controls.
Fill in each sheet's values

Open a sheet's properties
Double-click the sheet to open its properties.

Enter the value for each variable
Fill in this sheet's value, and its note preview resolves [room] to that value. Change the note's wording once and every sheet updates — each keeping its own values.
Write it once, reuse it everywhere
Parametric notes keep your general notes consistent — and update the whole set from one edit.
